Myth Busters: "I'm not registered to vote because I don't want to serve jury duty."

Jury duty is often given a reason for not registering to vote. That's exactly what I knew I would get from my aunt when I called and asked if she was registered to vote. I had a feeling I'd get this because another aunt (her sister) gave this same reason years ago when I asked her about her voting status.
There are currently only four states that use voter registration roles for jury duty (Alabama, Arkansas, Mississippi, and Montana), some don't use voter registration at all, and others use many lists.
So, she asked me to sign her up. Now I need to get her two daughters and my other aunt. In fact. I'm just calling everyone tonight.
